“What’s in the Story?” I have had this question a few times now. It’s a good question. Of course I don’t want to give too much away. It is a story of consequences. Consequences for those who forgive others and themselves, and those who do not. I will tell you I am a firm believer that darkness amplifies light rather than overcomes it. If you want to delve into a stories that challenge the characters convictions and decisions I believe you will really like the first two books.
Now that I have done my best to tempt you, let me throw you a curve. I am meeting with Ted Dekker’s story editor the end of September. This is part of the benefit of the writing course I took. Her job is to read over the first part of my story, look at my plot summary, and make suggestions on how to make the story better. Of course she can also say the story has a terrible premise and I have to start over. It does happen, even to veteran writers.
Keep watching my blog and expect an update on the any story changes the first part of October. In the meantime, I am moving forward with the both books. While they both will stand on their own, they are also integrated. If you read the both books you will get more out of each story.
